Im not writing a complaint. My agent for over a year (Nurit C[redacted]) said she had the best of intentions, and I have no reason to dispute that.
Did she do the best job possible, well, I’m really not sure, I have my doubts. Was Remax 2000 effective in delivering a service consistent with what they advertised, well, that I would say is a definite no. They set the bar high for themselves with statistics and a #1 agent ranking that is clearly above the results I saw. I did see two offers, but they were not close to the range their statistics (that they market heavily with) , and somehow in both cases negotiations ceased before a deal was reached. (In one case I noticed my agent emails were going back and forth between parties, and although they were worded to convey the value of my property, I hope I was not the sole negotiator in that deal. (it’s not what I went to college for ) .
My agent was one of the nicer ones I had dealt with, and I think their brochures were top notch, and post cards were a nice touch, as was the interactive floor plans, but in the end, results are what counts, and I did not get that.
I did have a hard time with getting results with respect to their efforts to provide contracting services, One engagement worked out ok, but the other two failed in that ReMax 2000 was not able to contract improvements to my floor (via Nurit C[redacted]) and countertops (via agent Itamar “Etay” Simhony) that they verbally stated they could do. (Granted this is no their core competency, but hey if you’re sure you can do something you have experience in delivering, then deliver and don’t make excuses. It was here that I began to since the beginning of the end.
Later when I got an email saying I must promise to never say anything negative else we could not due business, well that’s when I began to wonder how they achieve such positive reviews. I replied that I would truthful and balanced for anything I ever wrote.
I got a reply that that this response worried them and I was immediately dropped. Despite then I continue to stay true to my word, lay it out as I say it, and try and be balanced.
So, perhaps they can sell your house better, but I would not choose them for what they say their statistics imply they can deliver. I did not see that, and you may not either.
