1-estimate for service was no where near actual amount charged. The software used to calculate the square footage needed was off by at least 200 sq. ft. The estimated cost was just a little more than the [redacted] rental we already had set up. Because of this we cancelled the rental. We were unaware of the price difference until all of our belongings were already loaded onto the truck. As stated below, we had a flight to catch and could not have everything unloaded.
2-movers came over 5 hours late
3-main contact, John, and customer service were not reachable on pickup date because it was a Sunday. I understand people do not work on Sundays, however we were told they would be available if we had questions. Because we had a scheduled pick up time of 8-10am, we booked flights for that evening. Given the movers eventually showed up 5 hours late, we nearly missed our flight.
4-main contact and customer service were extremely reluctant to call us back, despite numerous messages left with clearly stated name, number, and concerns.
5-delivery driver called 24-48 hours before delivery, stating that he is not affiliated with the company and demanded cash. Hearing that is very disconcerting given we had a contract with the company and not this guy, so we were not willing to hand over a large sum of cash.
6- we eventually got in contact with company and they said money order made out to "relocation r us" would be acceptable. Despite this, upon delivery day, driver still was demanding cash. After a long debate, and another instance of not being able to contact the company or customer service, the driver reluctantly allowed our belongings off the truck.
7- we received 2 boxes from another family. Upon returning them, we asked the driver if we are receiving someone else`s boxes, what happens if someone else gets ours, to which he responds, " I don't know". That is comforting...
8-list of services advertised and discussed prior to signed included movers taking apart, putting back together, and placing property in assigned rooms. The delivery movers we got apparently did not get that memo. We had to ask them to bring heavy furniture upstairs. They eventually did it, but not without attitude. They also were not willing to place the elliptical in the desired room. They said it would not fit, even without trying. After they left, my wife and I alone were able to get it placed. This is something two large men either could not do, or could not be bothered to try.
9-we have at least 2 missing boxes. Each contain wedding presents that cannot just be replaced
10-severe damage to very hardy items (Dumbbells, BBQ, etc.) shows a complete lack or respect and disregard for our property. I mean a dumbbell was slit in half. How is that even possible?
11- company not very concerned and not helpful in finding our missing belongings.
We have contacted the customer directly and settled this complaint. If the customer has any further questions or concerns we ask that she contact us directly at [redacted].

If you work with Matt, which I don't suggest you do, be prepared to pay A LOT more than the estimate he gives you. I sold my condo before I bought my house so I had to move all my stuff into storage. I told him that it took me a 20 ft truck to move my stuff and he promised me that 573 cubic ft would be all I needed. He wasn't even close!!!! He gives you a low estimate so you use them and then you're stuck paying a lot more unless you cancel. However, the foreman, Ali was terrific. The guys were professional and the guys packaged everything very well. They were easy to deal with and delivered my furniture with no damage.
As stated in the original complaint, Relocation R Us came to our house as scheduled on the day of our move. Before they would begin our move, the stated our move was underestimated and...
demanded an additional $2900 to cover the cost of the move. Relocation R Us provides estimates over the phone and not an in-person estimate. Not having time to shop for another carrier, I was forced to pay the additional fee. To complicate matters, Relocation R Us did not bring a truck large enough for our move. Once it was full, they did not offer to bring another truck. The crew left. At that time I had to rent a U-Haul truck, costing $1019. My moving costs became $3919 more that budgeted.
Relocation R Us did call me and offer a settlement of $500. I countered their offer and asked them to reimburse me for the cost of the U-Haul truck I had to rent to move my family out of state. They have not called me back. I would like to resolve this issue with Relocation R Us. I'm willing to compromise from the original $2900 I requested and will accept $1019 to cover the cost of the U-Haul. However, I feel $500 is not sufficient restitution for the nearly $4000 I spent out of pocket for their mismanagement of the situation.
