We purchased 2 Furnaces and 2 Air Conditioners approximately 10 years ago from Greggs. Within 1 year a furnace quit working and the repair man came to fix it. He had to replace the motor saying that these specific furnaces weren't the best ones out there. Again within 6 months the furnace broke. This time the repair man came on a washing day and I had laundry for my 4 children, my husband and myself sorted into colours on the floor when he arrived early. I was in the shower and My husband took him down to the room where both the washer dryer are as well as our 2 furnaces. My husband is the most polite gentle man you will ever meet, and this repair man was rude and disrespectful. As I was changing in my room he didn't know I could hear him. He phoned his head office and said, "This is the biggest *&^^%$$ mess of a house I have ever seen." I had just gotten out of the hospital and the boys had been keeping the house clean, and it was not perfect but it was surely not worth making negative comments on! He finished the job and again we paid for the repairs. The it happened once again. This time the repair man from Greggs asked "Who installed this furnace? They did it all wrong." We answered that, "Greggs did", and he quickly stopped talking and got to work. I know this is hard to believe, but yes..... our furnace is once again not working. I am too frustrated to even think about calling the company that has given such incredibly poor service to a customer who purchased 2 furnaces and 2 air conditioners! What to do what to do. I wonder if Greggs will stand behind their products and replace this ever faulty product? The final point is that they say that if I file a report to the Revdex.com this will not be used. I would like to know why that is?
