Reliable Appliance and HVAC Repair

Review: I contacted Reliable Appliance and HVAC Repair in mid-January 2013, asking if they could check out the dishwasher in my rental property in [redacted]. I specifically asked if they could bill me for the repairs, with the verbal understanding that they would coordinate with my tenant to inspect the appliance and then let me know what was needed. However, after 2 weeks, I contacted my tenant to see if she had been contacted by Reliable, only to find out that the repair had already been completed. Reliable required her to pay the bill in full at time of service, providing only a receipt for the final amount and the description of the problem that I had provided to them over the phone. I have since called the company to request an itemized invoice (parts/labor costs), and to complain that they had not contacted me to discuss the repair as promised. I have replaced the same part on this appliance myself for under $30, yet their repair was $229. I have been assured on at least 4 occasions over the past 2 weeks that an itemized invoice was forthcoming, but I have yet to receive anything from Reliable. I appreciate that they were responsive to my initial call and the repair has been completed, but their complete disregard for customer service and failure to communicate with me as promised is very unprofessional. I would still like to see an itemized invoice for repairs; further, I'd like to bring their poor customer service practices to your attention.
