Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response submitted by the business and have determined that the response does not satisfy or resolve my issues and/or concerns in reference to complaint # [redacted] The room DID NOT have the described advertised “views” so the premise in which the room was initially booked was booked under pretenseThe room online clearly stated “mountain and harbor” views We have documentation that the room was booked under pretenses therefore making the signed contract claim invalid We have been advised by legal counsel that if we are not reimbursed via the Revdex.com then we will initiate legal action This is the last chance Camden Harbor inn to avoid court action Regards, [redacted] ***
Our guest booked online where cancellation policy is clearly stated. Upon check in guests signed registration card which again acknowledged our cancellation policy. Guest requested a complimentary upgrade to a specific room that was occupied at that time. Guest was informed that
wouldn’t be an offer we could extend. After checking in to the room, guest called to inform staff that he didn’t like the view from the room. Although limited availability, we offered an upgrade at a discounted rate for the 2nd night of the stay, as there were no upgrades available on first night. Guest refused the offer to upgrade at a discounted rate and expressed desire to check out early. Guest was again made aware of cancellation policy that included specifics regarding ‘shortened stays’. Guest decided to check out early and was charged in accordance with policy they acknowledged and agreed to upon booking and again at check in
