Review: I hired this attorney firm to represent me in a legal court case I had with a previous employer, the firm was representing me on a workers compensation case. The purpose of my complaint is because an employee [redacted] who carries the title of paralegal has been giving me false information regarding my settlement check and the status of the payment I should receive from the responsible insurance carrier. Tonia advised me that I would receive the check any time during the week of Nov 16-Nov 20, and she also emailed me informing me that I would receive the check. I never received the check in the mail so I called the insurance company to inquire about status of my payment and they mentioned they had not mailed me a check and the information I was receiving was incorrect from my attorneys office. I then called the actual attorney at Reid and Goodwin, his name was Brad G[redacted], he could not explain to me why his employee had deceived me on my settlement check, and all he said was that he would look into. I was highly upset because they are taking 750.00 out of my settlement and I don't feel as though they are entitled to any money, not only have they lied to me but they have also left a bad taste in my mouth to NEVER refer them to anyone. I felt they played with my money. I have bills that have to be paid and I won't start working until December 2nd 2015. At this point I wanted to lodge a complaint about the service and lies I have received from this firm. Not to mention I still don't have my settlement.Desired Settlement: I would appreciate the business contacting me to apologize for the misleading and lies, I would also like the business to give me and exact date when I will be receiving my check.
