As the managing agent for the association, we can only perform services that are board approved In this case, the board has not approved the requested maintenance work They are currently going through the process of obtaining a loan so all buildings in the community can be painted
Complaint:
I am rejecting this response because:
Putting the blame on board members is a way out for the management company if board members make poor choices then it is up to Rei to step up and make sure the right thing is done thats what they are here for
Sincerely,
Daniel Palanzo

I am rejecting this response because:
It has been 2 years of excuses from this company on reasons why things don't get done but when it come time to pay monthly dues they want there money asap and they don't wanna hear any excuses there is a petition going around to try to change management companies now more than half of the complex has signed we are just looking for the right attorney to take our case
In response to the above complaint, and as stated before, the gentlemen making the complaint does not understand how an association functions and the management companies role in terms of working for the board. The board determines how the association funds are to be spent and they then direct our efforts. As the managing agent, we cannot make expenditures without board approval. In this case, the board has directed us to obtain bids for painting buildings and they have requested that we assist them in obtaining a loan so they can afford to do so. We are working on those assignments now. It is anticipated that all buildings will be painted this year.
Review: I pay $300 a month for common fees and they refuse to act on issues or concerns that are brought to them I keep asking for them to paint so further damage wont happen to my home or garage but all I and other unit owners keep getting are broken promises its getting to the point that we are now trying to get another company to manage the townhouse complex,it seems like all they do is collect $300 a month and we dont get anything in return.Desired Settlement: Painting of town homes at Apple Blossom
