Review: My car was towed from a private lot on 4/**/2015 by Regulator Recover Services, Inc in error. They claimed I was not patronizing their shopping plaza when in fact I was getting Pizza and buying Ice Cream at "[redacted]" in [redacted]. In between I did walk off their property to get coffee at [redacted] but was patronizing their establishment. They towed my car without proper signage being displayed, and were uncontactable 4/**, 4/**. and 4/** - while their business was closed. I had to appear in person on 4/** after learning where my car had been taken and I was presented with a "Cash Only" bill for $418.21 to get my car back from the tow company with no description of charges. The rates far exceed the Islip Town rates, AND I should not have been charged for storage.Desired Settlement: I would like a full refund as the signage was not visible, no fee schedule was referenced, and I was forced to pay cash to get my car back.
