Although the information and investigation was conducted in a timely manner, I have been in and out of the office with the flu for the last four weeks. We are responding to the complaint ID[redacted], filed on January 14, 2014. As of January 15, 2014, the branch was sent a cease and desist notification for [redacted] account. According to our records, we only have record of daily calls with left messages and two field calls. As part of our collection process, we do from time to time make visits to a customer’s home in an attempt to collect a debt. At no time do we ever request the presence of the sheriff or another representative of the policy department. From our review, this account appears to have gone through the normal collections process. Unless and until [redacted] is current on his loan commitment with[redacted] Finance, we will pursue our legally available remedy. Our request is always for a customer to come into the branch and try to work out a plan with the branch. It would be greatly helpful if[redacted] would reach out and visit the branch or call to set up payment arrangements.
