Final Consumer Response /* (2000, 6, 2015/04/20) */
They sent me a letter and a check for $100. Since he sent the check voluntarily I will accept the $100 and let it go at that.

I'm going send the check to the consumer by the 1-14-16.
Thanks

Review: I will start off with the original E-mail I sent to the corporate of Regal Nails. I decided to email them after calling the store back 3 or 4 times, the same day, while on break at my place of work. I went into Regal Nails today, located at the [redacted] walmart in Pennsylvania. Went in at 11:16, didn't leave until 1:30. 3 workers and I sat there for 3 hours and 14 minutes, for a pedicure, and acrylic nails on my toes. The woman did a good job on the pedicure, but then just kind of left. Then a male came over, who fought with me about what I WANTED DONE, TO ME. Telling me I didn't NEED acrylic nails on my big toes. Who cares if I didn't need them? I wanted them! Still, he didn't put them on. He put them on my remaining 8 toes, and still managed to cut me in two places. I paid $55.00 for a shoddy job. HIGHLY DISPLEASED. When you go to a salon, you expect them to do what you ask for, or at least try, NOT FIGHT WITH YOU. AND CUT YOU. AND BE RUDE. I request a refund in full. I will gladly send pictures of the pedicure and my receipt. I WILL NEVER BE GOING TO A REGAL NAILS EVER AGAIN IN MY LIFE. If I do not receive a response to this, I will call, and I will speak to some sort of supervisor. Cannot believe how badly done this was, along with terrible service, DEFINITELY NOT WORTH 55 DOLLARS!Today, after I got off work, I went to the Salon to ask the owner for a refund, since they are franchised, and corporate has no say in their refund policy. From this point, quite a few things happened. I attempted to talk to the man who did my toes. He REFUSED to listen to me. Told me I was wrong, switching up his reasoning for things every other sentence. After I realized he was not going to attempt to help, I called corporate while in the store, I told the man, and all he could say was, "report me, report me, call who you need to to report me." So unprofessional... Corporate called him after I talked to them and he LIED to corporate.Saying that my nails looked different,

That I was partying all night and wanted a refund because "the party is over." When I never left my home. I have a one year old, I don't have time to party. I NEVER REMOVED MY SHOES, SO THERE IS NO WAY HE COULD EVEN TELL. The job was done poorly. Uneven, painful, he cut me TWICE. My toes are still in pain. I simply just wanted a refund, which I was overcharged by $5 for in the first place. The man was so rude, so were the other people, talking a

Review: On 06/06/15 I went to Regal Nails to get a mani/pedi for my upcoming wedding. There was no issues with the pedi, except the lady said that I got a number 3 package and I didn't, I told her I wanted the #2 which was a lot cheaper than the 3. When it came time to do my mani, I was told to have a seat and while I was waiting my nails were soaking in a bowl of acetone. I told one lady what I wanted, then another lady came and asked me again, then the third time a different lady came and asked and I told them all that I wanted a gel french tip manicure. The lady who did my nails, kept cutting and filing my nails to the point they were red, irritated and even had spots that were bleeding. Instead of putting the fake tips on, she painted my regular nails to look like a french tip. I was charged $50 for my services, this included the mani/pedi and eyebrow wax. I went outside and called my fiance because I was so upset with how my nails looked and I cried because I felt ugly and they hurt. My mother in law came to the store and walked back in with me because when she seen them she was upset. They lady at the store argued with us and finally said to go in and have a seat, they will redo it. As we were sitting there, the employees were all staring, laughing and talking very loud to each other, which I know it was about me because they kept coming up looking at my hands. I felt as if I were a circus animal on display. I was then charged another $13 to have my nails fixed to the way I originally wanted them. They did not treat me with respect, they argued and charged my more to fix the issue. They couldn't speak hardly any english and it was frustrating. My hands still hurt, are sore, red and tender. I was in the store for 4 1/2 hours, I will never go back, I will never recommend this store, they are rude, nasty, people who have no ounce of empathy or respect for anyone.Desired Settlement: I think that due to the services I received and my experience with the whole issue I should have been given a discount or my money back. Instead I was charged a second fee to fix their mistake.

Response:

After received your letter, I've carefully investigating the case with all of our staffs working in above address Regal Nails. [redacted] has been in this type of business over 24 years and is one of our generous and very well known managers in this Christiansburgs' Regal Nails; who also has done [redacted] a fullset of Nails. According to [redacted], most of the complaints in this case based on [redacted] words are untruth! She was happy while walking out our shop! Along with this letter, are the Spa Menu and the brochure for you to verify and to compare the prices with the service that [redacted] got! And what she has paid!If there were truth based on [redacted] words, she would have to pay $71.00 for her service instead of $63.00 as she stated on her statement.#3 Royal Spa Pedicure $40Fullset Acrylic with white Tip $28Gel Top Coat $03Total $71For that reason, I've found that we have done nothing wrong; therefore, we decide no further discussion for this case.Sincerely yours,General Manager[redacted]

On Wednesday, April 27 I had a manicure and pedicure appointment with [redacted] at 1:30 pm. I called one week ago to schedule this appointment. The day of the appointment I was running late and called to say I would be a few minutes late. I was late 10 minutes. When I got there [redacted] was already with another customer and the that manicure was very involved, meaning that I would wait a long time for her. When I asked her if she received my message she said that [redacted] double booked the customer she was working on. When I saw the appointment book there was no indication that this customer was in the 1:30 time slot. [redacted] was very embarrassed and her face turned red when I had asked her questions about my appointment. I have been a loyal customer at this place for a number of years and will not use their services again and will also advertise to my friends not to contemplate having any service there.Product_Or_Service: manicure/pedicureDesired SettlementMy desired settlement is having Regal Nails call me and let me have a free manicure and pedicure.Business' Initial Response At first, I have to say sorry to [redacted] because of the problem, I know that she is very angry but I just want to say one thing that this was [redacted] mistake. [redacted] make appointment with her on that time but there was anther customer call in to ask if she can come the same time, [redacted] was misunderstand, he think that [redacted] was call in to confirm her appointment so that he didn't ask for her name either then he was accept her in the same time. He was remind me that I have appointment at that time. and at the appointment time the other customer came on time, I asked her"did you have appointment with me? She say:"yes" then after 15 minutes [redacted] came. She didn't gave me a chance to explaint, She was very angry but at that time I can ask for the other customer if somebody else can do her nail and she will be ok with that because she is understand that was a mistake. I hope at that time [redacted] can be cool down to listent to my explaining. But I still say I'm sorry, I hope one day you will understand. Thank you very much for tell me and I will try to be better for my customer service.[redacted]Consumer's Final Response (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)4/27/13First of all, I was not angry, I had a set appointment with [redacted]. I made this appointment TWO weeks ago. The customer that was in my place had to change her time from 9:00 am that day to my time, [redacted] put her into my time slot! [redacted] told me that. 90% of [redacted]'s response is a lie. As a matter of fact, [redacted] asked me to always ask for her. I called before my scheduled appointment on that day and said that I would be a few minutes late, I was 10 minutes late. [redacted] actually showed me the appointment book - two times - and my name was the only one for that time and date. [redacted] never asked me if someone else could do my manicure/pedicure. [redacted] never said that she was sorry. [redacted]'s face/neck and entire front body was very, very red from embarrassment or lies? I just want to repeat that I was not angry, I left without saying anything. I believe that [redacted]'s is covering for [redacted] mistake by stating these lies. I will never use this salon and will make it known to my friends and family that this salon should not be used by them. Word of mouth is the best form of marketing/ advertising. I feel sorry for [redacted] and wish her the best. What a shame for [redacted].
