This was not something we were hiding; it was advertised on our website (in multiple locations) and talked about in many classes. The build-out of the new studio was delayed by about five months. info was readily shared with our students – at the end of class – on the changing timeline. During this time many students asked questions about the new studio, as well as the plan for combining yoga and fitness into one space. Our studio policy regarding refunds is posted on our website (it is at the bottom of every page under “Studio Policy”). Here is the documented Studio Policy on refunds: The individual that returned [redacted]'s phone call did let him know an account credit was possible, and [redacted] declined that option. This issue from [redacted] is a good reminder to us that we should be more diligent in letting people verbally know at the time of the sale that service-related sales are final. We do understand that a business’ location can affect a person’s interest in that business. Please note that since the dispute was filed, [redacted] attended a yoga class at the new studio on 5/28, 5/29, and 5/30 (2 classes on this date). We can offer [redacted] the option to put his outstanding account balance on hold until the new studio’s grand opening. We can also offer [redacted] the option to put his outstanding balance on hold until more of the empty retail space in our shopping center fills up, as the retail area will change in appearance as the available spaces become occupied. [redacted]’s experience is not our typical client experience and we hope to arrive at a mutually-satisfying solution.
