I've been in the FL Lemon Law circus for nearly months now Lemons happen It's what happens after the fact that has me very upset I brought the vehicle in for it's 15,000-mile service with clear written instructions that they were not to tamper with the issue of the lemon-law, faulty oil level warnings as I was awaiting the arbitration hearing After the service the warning light failed to illuminate After miles I became very suspicious and had another mechanic drain about quarts of oil out of the vehicle The yellow warning light that has been a constant companion for 10,miles still failed to come on The computer based oil level screen now reads simply an oil level (minimum at that time) rather than "please add qt of oil It is safe to continue to the dealer" Simply changing the oil would not disable the i

I've been in the FL Lemon Law circus for nearly 11 months now. Lemons happen. It's what happens after the fact that has me very upset. I brought the vehicle in for it's 15,000-mile service with clear written instructions that they were not to tamper with the issue of the lemon-law, faulty oil level warnings as I was awaiting the arbitration hearing. After the service the warning light failed to illuminate. After 1000 miles I became very suspicious and had another mechanic drain about 2 quarts of oil out of the vehicle. The yellow warning light that has been a constant companion for 10,000 miles still failed to come on. The computer based oil level screen now reads simply an oil level (minimum at that time) rather than "please add 1 qt of oil. It is safe to continue to the dealer". Simply changing the oil would not disable the i
t light or change a computer based screen. Complaints have been filed with the Federal Trade Commission, the FL Agriculture & Consumer Services, and the FL Attorney General's office for unfair & deceptive business practices. I've been a customer of [redacted] for about 15 years. It's bad enough to have a lemon (Arbitration Board ruled 3-0 in my favor) but the lemon law should be renamed "FL Auto Manufacturer & Dealer Protection Act". I am now pursuing legal action under the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act (Federal Law) to reach a reasonable settlement. I have given both Reeves and Audi several opportunities to reach a reasonable settlement but to no avail. I have retained the services of the [redacted] to handle this going forward.
