Tonn Custom Construction will not refund the cost for labor that was not done I paid [redacted] L Tonn, $in cash on May 18th, 2018, because he told me that he needed half of the total cost for the deck repair I had hired him to do up front He completed two days work on my deck Prior to his starting the job he told me that his rate was $per hour The first day he worked removing the old decking The second day he began to put up new skirting on the deck He worked hours each day for a total of hours The work on the skirting was very substandard work He cut lumber incorrectly and put it on backwardsHe used nails rather than deck screws The skirting wasn't level and there were gaps at the joints He also damaged a down stairs window while he was removing the old decking Therefore, I told him Monday, May 21st that I did not want him to do any further work I then returned what lumber I could to Menards I have tried over and over since May to contact him
