I’m responding to the letter we received pertaining to the above referenced complaint number.  I’ve read the customer’s statement of the problem and offer our response.  The customer picked up material at our Columbus, Ohio branch.  The customer states he paid cash for the product....

 Our branch is not showing receipt of the cash.  When discussing this situation with the customer we requested that he forward the receipt he would have been given if cash was given to an employee in Columbus.  The customer did not provide the proof of payment.  After several requests for the document we turned the account over to a third party collection agency.  The collection agency attempted to resolve the matter, but the customer was not willing to work with the agency.  The collection agency reported back to us that the debtor was not willing to resolve the matter and recommended that we write this amount off to bad debt as the balance was too small to file suit.  At the close of our fiscal year we do intend to write the amount off.If you have any other questions, please feel free to contact me.Thank you for your time.Bob R[redacted]Director of Credit & CollectionsRedneck Trailer Supplies2100 N.
