I took my vehicle into them due to a thrown belt, they replaced the belt, the rollers and told me the crank seal needed replaced. They showed me a pile of belt debris and told me it was possible that debris got into the engine and they would check, and would provide me with an estimate if further work needed to be done, I never got any word about belt debris in the engine. According to their paperwork the engine malfunction presented while on a test drive with them and they claimed they didn't know if it was there prior to me bringing in the car to them. They thought it was a low pressure fuel sensor and asked me to bring the car back to them the following week. I did and they talked a lot about an oil change and wanting to send off an oil sample to have analyzed. And that the VANOS Solenoid needed to be replaced. I did the Solenoid myself with a genuine *** OEM part and the problem persisted. After a couple of months I took the car to another mechanic and they found a lot of belt debris in the engine and that the oil tube was clogged, I had them replace the tube and tried to get Redmond European to take care of the rest and to reimburse me for the amount I spent at the second mechanic. They are refusing. They contacted the second mechanic and the second mechanic has now back peddled on what they told me about the belt debris causing the issues. I can provide pictures of the belt debris that was found in the engine along with the Oil tube that is packed with belt debris, this debris is not small little pieces. I can also obtain witness statements.
