Wow. Wow. Wow. First off do any of these complaints help ? can't redman be held responsible ? Our Redman. Mfg. house about 26' x 44'. 4/12 pitch. Interior ceiling like a sloped ceiling. FYI. We are in northern or the middle of Wiscobnsin.
Opened the gable end to look at adding more insulation. Couldn't believe what I seen.
Every piece of the roof, ceiling truss system is made from 2" x 2" s. Not even sure if they are a full 2 x 2 inches. Looks like a system that would be in a mobile home. In the pic some of the pieces look a lot bigger than theyn really are. The only place there is some 2 x 4's in under the peek of the roof. Cant believe this passes the builing code. We are in fear if we get 3 feet of snow the roof is going to collapse either injuring us or killing us.
And there is only about 6" of blown insulation.
What can be done ?

We purchased this home from Redman less than a year ago. Yesterday 4/20/22, the winds (45 mph) blew part of the roof off. The company refused to come out and repair the roof.

From the dealer to the so called quality manager that they sent to inspect, these are the most dishonest people I have dealt with in my 70 years. Took advantage of a wheelchair bound person. Take a friendly tip and run away ASAP from Redman and High Touch Homes.

I bought azad Redman home from Judy's Mobile Homes in Shanks WV. I was never offered a final walk through. After a couple months my front door started leaking under the base plate. A worker came out once to look at it. I called the dealer and the worker complained about my big dogs. I said I can put th he dogs in their crates while the door is being fixed. After 2 years I had the door fixed myself. I had to replace part of the sub floor. When fixing the door we had to take down the siding revealing there is just cardboard around my window with no vapor barrier. Other repairs were never fixed on my home also...interior doors never adjusted and cabinets need fixed.

Review: home was supposed to have R26 insulation in floor of manufactured home instead it has R13 in the floor.With the cold floors are cold and house requires more fuel to heatDesired Settlement: Pay the extra costs for heating during my ownership

Review: I purchased a double wide mobile home built by Redman Homes. Shortly after the home was delivered the service people arrived and began to do their set up and finish the carpit, paint, trim and etc. We did a quick walk through that day and pointed out what we liked and did not like. We left and they worked late into the evening. the next day when I returned between 10 AM and 12 noon they were gone and never returned. The following I called the person who sold me the unit and he told me that the men returned to the factory and said that I refused a final walk through. Which is not true. They never even asked me to do a final walk through. They locked the house when they left and took the keys with them.Desired Settlement: Finish the job to our satisfaction and turn over the keys.
