Reddy Ice Corp

I ordered ice on 3/21/16 order #XXXXXXX and within 24-48 hours it would be delivered. I called again on 3/29/16 same order still not delivered. I ordered ice for a new location in [redacted] of [redacted] on March 21, 2016. I was told within 24-48 hours it would be there. They also set the location for a new route on a set schedule. I was told it would be a set day but they didn't know what that day would be until the first delivery was made. On March 29, 2016 I called again to find out why the ice had not been delivered. I spoke with [redacted]. She said the same thing 24-48 hours and would try to set a schedule for a certain day and time to get ice delivered. I am not sure if she escalated the order or not but that order was not received. I called again today and was told it is not acceptable. The ice should have been delivered. The lady could see where the order was cancelled or closed. So my question is how does an order get closed/cancelled if nothing was delivered and no one called to cancel it? I was told again it should be delivered today. She would have someone from management call. I now have a new delivery ticket number and a complaint ticket number. I had same problems last year with delivery. I would place the order and have to call the next day and day after to make sure it would be delivered. It is the delivery service that is pulling the company down. I don't want to nor should I have to call on a daily basis to find out where the ice delivery is.Desired SettlementA set delivery schedule and to show up when promised. I should not have to call and make sure a delivery will be made when I am told it will be there. Reddy Ice has horrible delivery service. It if can't be fixed I will take my business elsewhere. It seems to be the Raleigh plant that has the problem.
