Once this shipment left their residence we have no control over it. We were the booker only and Allied did the dispatching of finding a driver for it. The driver is the one who hires help when he delivers the shipment to the new residence. Ms*** said she paid $for the
cologne she says is missing and we have sent her a check for that amount even though they did their own packing. We have done this in good faith even though we are not under any obligation to do so. They declined replacement value for the shipment and opted for the .60/lb which is included in the price of the move at no additional charge. Under this option if the cologne weighed oz Allied would only be obligated to pay but since they did their own packing we would have no obligation at all. I feel that we have gone over and above to satisfy the shipper
