Review: I am a widowed elderly woman and I live in a large Victorian that my husband and I bought about 40 years ago. I have always tried my best to keep the home up and find the right people to do the job. In November of 2011, I selected [redacted] of Red White and Blue Contracting to replace my shingled roof. The roof of my home has NEVER leaked. It was just that some singles had come off and I knew that it was time for a new roof. I trusted [redacted] to do a good job. I paid him $30,000 for the job. A week after the roof was finished, I experienced a leak in the second (middle) floor bedroom. I called [redacted] to fix this; he recommended gutter seals for $1500, which I bought. In September of 2012, I experienced severe leaks in the third (top) floor ceiling, causing the plaster ceilings to fall in three rooms. I assumed this was from the skylight leaking, maybe the integrity of the ceiling and it was the third floor and unoccupied. So I didn't call about this. Tonight we had a heavy rain storm and I experienced severe leaking in my second floor living room bedroom and living room. I KNOW that this is a problem and my ceilings are very good on this floor and I can only attribute this to [redacted]'s inattention to detail and poor work. [redacted] initially assured me that he would be on the job site but he often would not be there and would have his son there. I tried to contact him tonite but he has not returned my call, so I am filing this complaint to try to get his attention. Once again, here is what happened: Paid $30,000 to Red White and Blue Contracting to put on a new roof. Immediately thereafter, I began experiencing leaks.... Let the buyer beware.Desired Settlement: I want [redacted] of Red White and Blue Contracting to call me back and make arrangements to FINISH THE JOB PROPERLY. I should not be paying anyone thirty thousand dollars for a leaking roof! It is not right or ethical for any contractor to walk away from this kind of situation.

Work was completed 7-**-13. It was found not to be coming from roof. Was coming from windows. I am all for Revdex.com + Consumer Affairs but it is not fair to make a complaint and say what you want with no certainty what problem was, the problem is corrected. This was not the blame of R,W,B workmanship. We corrected the problem with no charge to HomeOwner. If pictures are needed we have them to forward.
