Initial Business Response / [redacted] (1000, 11, 2015/09/21) */ On the date of 8APR15, Mr [redacted] came into Red Rock Fitness stating that he would be leaving the state for a couple months and would need to cancel his membershipHe was informed that a cancellation was not necessary, and that he could choose to FREEZE his membership for two monthsMr[redacted] chose this optionAt no time was he told that his membership would cancel after the two months was upAs per the membership agreement..."Member may place his/her membership on an inactive status for extended vacation/business travel periods of thirty (30) consecutive days and no longer than one hundred & eighty (180) days, at least once per year." Mr [redacted] was also informed in August when he called to cancel over the phone, that a written notice of cancellation must be filled out in person or received by certified mail in order to cancel his membershipIn order to try to expedite the cancellation of his membership, due to his circumstances, Mr [redacted] was told that his wife could come up and complete the necessary form in his placeHe was also informed that it would take days to cancel (as per the membership agreement)The staff at Red Rock Fitness did everything possible, within the guidelines, to try to help Mr [redacted] to terminate his contract in a timely manner, to save him from any unnecessary charges
