I had the opportunity to discuss this complaint with my team, and I am profusely sorry that your stay was unsatisfactory Our hotel is preparing for a large scale renovation in the future, as we know that our rooms are a bit dated and have opportunity I do,
however, pride myself on our cleanliness and service, so, hearing that these were the main areas of concern, disappoints me, and I will address this with my managers directly I would NOT expect you to pay for an unpleasant experience, and will adjust the charges, and credit your card I want to also reassure you that we do not charge a credit card prior to the guests arrival UNLESS the card-holder is not present but have an authorization form on file. I believe this was the case, as your daughter checked in prior to your arrival I am at your service, and I was initially surprised you were not upgraded to our executive floor, however, I understand that you brought a dog, & our first floor rooms are reserved specifically for guests with pets These rooms provide convenience for the pet-owner, but don't necessarily showcase our best room layouts I DO invite you to reach out to me if you are ever in the Renton area again to give our hotel another try We value your business, and again, I apologize for our short-comings
