To Whom It May Concern:In regards to complaint ID [redacted] submitted on August 25, we do not feel that there was an error in how the customer was charged. Incoming vehicles are weighed on the way in, the customer drops off their items for disposal, and the vehicle is weighed again on the way out....

Customers are charged per pound in 20 pound increments for the amount of weight disposed off. Our scales are certified every 90 days with the last certification date being July 27. We have not had any other recent complaints about the accuracy of weights. We charge a minimum fee of$7.00 which includes all applicable taxes. The customer was charged$9.79 for disposal of 120 pounds.Being that the customer feels so strongly about thinking they have been charged incorrectly, we will gladly mail a refund check in the full amount of $9.79. We value each of our customers, and I apologize on behalf of the company for anything the customer feels that we may have done wrong in trying to resolve this matter. We would like to be provided with the customer's full name and mailing address so that we may send a refund check.I will gladly provide any further information or explanation if necessary.
