This account has been in
collections for four years.  When we initially ran the credit card it
declined.  It seems that now Mr. [redacted]
wants to repair his credit and is  falsely complaining about the call he
initiated to our office.  There was no reason for our collector to...

have
been rude to Mr. [redacted] to simply process his payment. This frivolous
 complaint seems to be an attempt to  get the credit reporting
process facilitated more quickly than usual.

This account was last reported to my credit report on March 10, 2016.  It is open on my TransUnion report which was recently reported.  The creditor has not informed them the account has been paid in full and again have yet to receive the letter stating as such.  I will not close the complaint until the creditor lives up to their agreement of reporting aND removing the debt off my credit report and sending a letter to me as paid in full as they are legally obligated to do.  As part if the FDCPA it is their responsiblity to verify information as name and address when accepting payment and had they done that in the beginning this would not be an issue.  I am aware of my rights and would like this resolved.   Thank you.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID #####, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me. I will indeed send a written complaint via email with hopes of a solution to this matter.

We've recently received communication from complainant about this matter and we're notifying the credit bureaus to delete the accounts due to fraud today/tomorrow.
