Hi [redacted],
I have sent out a reply message to Mrs. [redacted] complaint just after receiving the letter from Revdex.com and Attorney...
General.
She acknowledged and agreed with our cancelation policy before and after the passing of her mother. She has had a change
of heart at my expense. I have attached the letter and signed contract with terms on the reverse side of the agreement, stating
under the paragraph Returns: non-returnable and its purchase price cannot be refunded. I have Mrs. [redacted]s product in my
warehouse as it is custom made size to fit the bathroom it was measured for. The deposit does not cover the cost of the
materials, but the deposit given was the amount that Mrs. [redacted] offered at the time of the contract signing. I explained to Mrs.
[redacted] that we would still install the bathroom and that they could recover the expense at the sale of the property. Mrs. [redacted]
stated that she didn't want to invest in the sale of the property and chose not to move forward with the new shower and forfeit
her deposit.
I is very unfortunate that this happened as it did. My Franchise agreement disallows the sale of raw materials. They are
patented materials that must be installed with patented adhesives by certified installers. I can't give her the special order
materials without installing them and then receiving the remaining balance owed to cover material and labor cost incurred.
I hope that everyone understands the position that I am in with this situation? I have had a clean Revdex.com record up to this point
and do not believe that Mrs. [redacted]s non refundable deposit should damage my Revdex.com grade as it was stated at the time of
signing and is also covered on the Terms and Conditions.
Had Mrs. [redacted]s mother not passed she would agree that is was the greatest thing that they had done for her mother in
her home to add safety and aging in place for her mother. As that is what I hear from others that do this for their aging parents.
Respectfully,
[redacted]

Review: On November 4, 2014, I contracted Re-Bath through Home Depot to install a shower at my Mother, Shirley Carson's house located at [redacted]. Using my Mother's checking account, I made a down payment of $3,000. It was going to cost an additional $4,920 for Re-Bath to complete the install. On December 8, 2014 the day before the work was to start, my Mother died unexpectedly. I contacted Re-Bath to cancel the install because it was no longer needed. I was informed that I would have to forfeit the $3,000 and that they would not give me the shower because it was custom made and only they could install it. They told me to write a letter, however, after further consideration, I believe that the $3,000 should be refunded or I should be given the shower since no labor was done on their part. I appreciate your time and attention to this matter and look forward to hearing from you.Desired Settlement: I would like to either receive a refund of the $3,000.00 down payment or to receive the shower
