Review: My roof that was 1 year and 2 months old began to leak in November of 2013. Since the roof has a 10 year guarantee, I contacted the roofing company. It took a month for them to come out, but they patched a hole. Shortly thereafter my roof continued to leak and I was told that my eaves box was frozen and my drain pipe needed to be replaced. By this point I have thousands of dollars of water damage in my house and my electric was in and out from water in the ceiling. Reasonable Home Improvements replaced the drain pipe and chipped out the eaves box. They assured me they would send me the paper work with a receipt and a guarantee for the additional work. I have not received it to date though I have followed up several times. Two more times the company had to come out to patch the roof and each time the patch quickly gave and my roof continued to leak. Here we are at the beginning of May. My roof is still leaking and now the contractor is no longer answering or returning my calls. I have no electric in my upstairs hallway or my bathroom. I cannot have the electric repaired until the roof leak is resolved. 2.5 months ago I was told someone was coming out the next day, but no one showed up. I lost a day of pay for staying home to wait for the contractor, and they did not even bother to show up. Since then the contractor did not return my calls until this past Wednesday. He advised me he would be out to repair the roof on Saturday 5/10. He did not show up. The warranty on the roof prevents me from having another roofing company fix the damage, as it will void my warranty. I have damages totaling $3.8K on the interior of my house that are just getting worse because the roof continues to leak.Desired Settlement: I would like for the roofing company to maintain the warranty and allow me to have another contractor repair the roof without invalidating the warranty.
