I rented a home from this property management company. It was the most unprofessional business I have ever dealt with. I requested from the lease agent that irrigation repairs be made. The repair was partially completed within a week but the rest of the repair took weeks despite her telling me via email that it would be handled immediately. At the same time the HOA cited my property for weeds in the front lawn. I asked [redacted] to send their landscaper out for a bid on the property. Months went by and neither were handled. I sent a certified letter and within a few days of reciept all reapirs and lawn clean up were completed. When I spoke with [redacted], I informed her I only wanted a bid and no lawn work was authorized.she told me via phone that because of the long wait I would not be charged for the landscaping. The office called me multiple times afterthat to collect the $265 landscaping fee and I told them what she had told me. Upon vacating the property they withheld these fees from my lease. I emailed the owner to explain the situation and request a refund. She is citing that the lease says if I negelct the property they can authroize work and no refund will be submitted. I understand this portion of the lease but I was told by the elasing agent that I was not responsible for these charges because of their neglect. I did not take action myself on the lawn because via email I specifically requested a bid only (twice) and she stated she would send someone out but never did.Product_Or_Service: Rented home at [redacted]Desired SettlementI would like to be reimbursed the $265 landscaping fee that was taken from my deposit. I understand the clause in the lease but it would not have been exercised if the agent had sent out the contractor for the bid when she said she would via email. She also told me verbally on the phone I was not responsible for this because of the long time to get back with me and failure to repair the irrigation. I do not feel I should have been charged if I was told it was not my responsibility.
