Wednesday, February 21, 2018 To Whom It May Concern: Thank you for forwarding Ms. [redacted] complaint [redacted] to us. When investigating dispute claims reported by our cardholders we adhere to the processes as defined in both Regulation E and in NetSpend cardholder agreements that customers... receive when opening an account. We have reviewed Ms. [redacted] dispute claim and we’ve determined that her claim is being handled correctly. As you requested, we addressed this matter directly with Ms. [redacted] on February 20 and 21, 2018 by telephone. She relayed some details regarding her claim that were not considered in our original decision. We escalated her claim for additional review. An email was sent to Ms. [redacted] outlining our actions to resolve her complaint. She wants the money refunded to her. On July 2, 2015, we mailed a check for $25 to Ms. [redacted] ’ address. That... check was returned back to us as undeliverable on July 29th. We’ve attempted to contact Ms. [redacted] by telephone and email, but have not been able to reach her. Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: the funds have not been returned, and I have not received a letterI was informed the dispute was reopenedWill not accept anything until I have my money back!! Revdex.com:Netspend failed to note that it took days and on the 4th morning they contacted meI paid the balance off the same day I activated the new cardWhich they also fail to mentionA $credit seemed almost offensive, give I spent 8+hrs on the phone, was hung up on and even left on hold for 3hrs with a so called supervisorThen to close the other acct and mail me a refund they wanted 5$ to process the check even though I'm not requesting a check its just the only way they allow you receive your funds after you close an acctI won't continue business with netspend and I will be sure to voice my opinion to others about the level of service they offer to their customer I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me Regards, [redacted] ***

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: The documents submitted for [redacted] were fine In fact, it is no longer even necessary to add him as a user I am fully aware of the terms of the card HoweverI called in to Customer Service prior to submitting any documents and I was advised to submit what was submitted Mr [redacted] does not have a social security number Instead, the IRS issued him and ITIN So there is nothing fraudulent here It is this business just making a stupid and arbitrary decision I do not accept this!!!! Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: they are not telling the truthI have contacted the IRS on multiple occasions in which they have told me that they are not reviewing my accountAlso they told me that once my account was closed that Netspend should have sent my funds directly to me not waiting on the IRSI have spoke to many netspend CSRs over the time from Feb 17th until nowIn which for about weeks they told me that my money was being mailed out to me and that I should receive it in business daysThen on March 3rd that's when I was told that my money was being sent back to the IRSNetspend has lied on many different occasions so this is why I am rejecting this Regards, [redacted]
