Roof was never repaired, my property has a lot of water damage due to the heavy rains we got this year, I had the same issue last year and they didn't properly fix it.
The gate to the complex hasn't been repaired in a year and I have made complaints to them and it's still not fixed. My townhouse was burglarized on 5/4/19 early in the morning, the burglar entered my house through my garage, now its unaligned and now has a crack. I have made a police report. This really irritates me, if the gate was working this wouldn't have happened, now I feel unsafe in my own home. The security cameras also don't work. Neighbors have also said that they have seen random people walking around our complex this issue needs to be fixed!
Repair I would like my roof to be properly fixed and the gate along with the alignment to my garage door or replace my garage door as it now has a crack due to the burglar forcing themselves into my home.
To whom it may concern,
RPM South SFV is a management company that started to manage ***. ***'s HOA two years ago. By that time HOA had $o balance on their savings account, more than $*** pending debt to LADWP and other utilities and building that wasn't repaired in last 25 years.
We understand ***. ***'s concerns about the roof and we mentioned that many times on Board meetings that this HOA should schedule special assessment to replace the old roof ASAP. We already got some additional reserves and hopefully we'll be able to complete this project next year. Unfortunately, homeowners are not ready to pay special assessment to replace the roof immediately and patching the old roof doesn't always fix the problem.
Regarding the gate - it was fixed long time ago, however there are homeowners that turn off the gate every day. We agree that this is serious security problem and we need cameras to be installed to find out who is responsible for this issue. Again, the HOA doesn't have funds for new video surveillance system now and doesn't want to have any special assessments.
We had a meeting with ***. *** two weeks ago, we explained her what's going on and showed her how to reactivate the gate when it's turned off. ***. *** knows that property management company does whatever it can do in this situation. Hopefully, we'll have enough funds to complete all necessary repairs in this community during next year without serious special assessments.
