On 1/30/15 I gave [redacted] the owner of Real Performance $3,460.00 to order [redacted] racing rims for my 2004 [redacted] Evo 8.Before I ordered the rims I asked him what will happen if my rims get scratched, he told me and my mom he has insurance to cover them and to not worry about it. On 2/16/15 he called me to inform me my rims arrived at the shop. On 3/6/15 all my parts were in for my car. We agreed on a date (3/11/15) to do all of the work. When I had picked up my car on 3/13/15 it was parked the opposite way of all the other cars. I drove off the lot and went to my house once I got out I realized my rim had a gash out of it with a couple other little ones around it. I immediately took a picture and sent it to him he said he didn't know how it happened but to bring it back. I took my car back and he put my old rims on. He told me he would call [redacted] Racing the place he ordered them from and see what they can do. He didn't call them until 4/3/15 and adv [redacted] of the rim. They told him it was past the shipping warranty and there is nothing they can do, it is his fault for letting a customer drive off the lot knowing the rim was scratched. They referred him to [redacted] wheel repair and they told [redacted] they can't match the paint. He called [redacted] again and they advised him the rims were discontinued with a similar rim but different color so he would have to buy a whole new set. I told [redacted] I am tired of waiting for an answer from him on what hes going to do when he has had my rims since Feb. I told him I either want my money back or a new set of rims, he has had 3 months to figure something out. He told me there is no refunds they are special order, all he is willing to do is try to get it painted but they wheel repair couldn't match the paint.
