Review: I rented an office from Real Estate Spec. for a number of years. I wasrequired to put a deposit on the space. I gave notice to Real Estate Spec. that I was moving 60 days prior to my move. It was necessary to give 30 days notice. I left this office on July 31, 2015. Mr. [redacted] from Real Estate Spec. said he would mail me my deposit money. As of this date I have not received this money. I have called and left messages about my refund but I have not received a call back from Mr. [redacted].Desired Settlement: Return of my deposit.

I have never in the past 10 years of living in apartment buildings been as appalled as I am regarding Deer Creek Apartments in Jefferson, WI. For the past two years now, I have been dealing with a black mold problem that the real estate company REFUSES to address. The mold started in the bedroom in three areas living room, the bathroom, and in the spare bedroom. Over the course of the two years I was there, it has grown to the den area as well as the kitchen. My landlord did nothing to help with the situation. He gave me some cleaner that is harmful to humans AND dogs (which I have) and told me to just clean it up. How is that MY responsibility? Also, in the duration of my stay here, my boyfriend actually had to move elsewhere because he was getting ill from the mold and rashes. Since he has left and moved to another place, he has not been sick nor has he had any rashes. I, on the other hand, have had to live there and dealing with illness I haven't had my entire life, until I moved into those apartments. These apartments are seriously hazardous to your health and should be looked into. I have never experience mold that grows so quickly (within a day), even after cleaning it with straight bleach and other harsh cleaners.
