I have used this company for about 20 years without incident. The Associate I have been using recently retired and her recommended replacement did tax preparation for 2012. During a telephone conversation with [redacted] (tax Preparer) on April 4 he indicated that because of the complexity of the return the fees for preparation would be between $750 and $900 (This is a 100% increase over previous years). After an added phone call and three trips to the office I was finally able to get the completed tax returns. Unfortunately, we also received a final bill for $1274 (about $400 above his previous quote). [redacted] explained the cost increases and how complex the return was during one of our meetings on 4/8 but did not indicate any additional price increase from our 4/4/ discussion.
