In response to the complaint ID [redacted] : · The cardholder filed a dispute on 4/26/· Regulation E for dispute resolutions was followed · A PIN is required for ATM withdrawals, and prevents withdrawing funds at the ATM from a card stolen from a purse Please let me know if you need more information Sincerely, [redacted] ***
Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: I believe that Regulation E and "Unauthorized electronic funds transfer" states to limit the liability on a lost card is up to $50 if the card is reported as lost within 2 business days...which it was less than 24 hours later. Regulation E as I believe, also states that you must provide provisional credit, in which you did not do. Regulation E applies in my favor, regardless if a PIN was used because you were notified within 24 hours and have proof and documentation that it was not an authorized transaction. Sincerely, [redacted]
Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to meAlso, I did check and see that there was atms that I could use that would not charge my card and I have used atms
before that did say I would get charged for taking money off my cardBut, not once for the money that was charged on my card did I get an alert saying I would be charged and the atms on their site did say I would not get charged a fee for using them but yet I got charged anywayIf they're gonna charge my card after their site says that certain atms won't charge my card and I get charged anyway, then they need to fix their site to be more accurateIt's just bad business if they have atms on their site that won't charge and I get charged anywayAnd again, I have gone to atms that did say I would get charged, but the atm I used was on their site as one of the atms that wasn't supposed to charge me and the atm I used didn't say it either.
Sincerely,
