Called the same night after hours and left a message to cancel my request

Received a call the next day stating that they would cancel, but would charge me anywayDesired Settlement: I want my $40 back or at lease 1/7 of it

Response:

We have contacted the complainant directly and resolved this issue by offering her credit for 6 of the 7 days that she had scheduled for her ad. Since she called after hours, there was no way to halt production that would keep her ad from appearing in the paper the next morning.

We agreed that we would adjust her bill to reflect publication for one day only. She was agreeable to the solution.
