charges on a credit cardThe caller was not a ReachNow member, but was a victim of credit card fraudAt ReachNow, we have an explicit policy for how to handle this type of situationUnfortunately, upon review, we can confirm that this protocol was not followed in this instance Once this was brought to my attention, I took several steps to ensure that this situation would be resolved in a way that limited the impact on the customer: 1. On March 2017, the fraudulent account that was associated with the credit card information was cancelledThis prevents any further unauthorized charges from appearing. 2. On March 2017, the customer initiated the chargeback process with the bank and ReachNow is cooperating in our fullest capacity to ensure the customer is reimbursed for all unauthorized transactions as quickly as possible3.
