RE/MAX of Rancho Bernardo

Review: The agent from Re/Max located in San Diego completely lied to my husband and me about the house sale status. Her name is [redacted]. We were the buyer. She was a seller's agent on one of the houses that we were very interested in. Since we didn't have an agent, she said she will be our agent. This particular house belongs to City of Poway SHOP program and we had to go through the City's approval of qualification. [redacted] told us that she was waiting for the City to respond and put us on hold for almost five months. We found out on the last month that she was in escrow with someone else. Even two weeks before the house actually was sold to another person, she emailed us saying she is still waiting for the City to reply. Once she said she is not in escrow with anyone when I asked her that.We understand in real estate industry, they have to play some games like that. But as our agent, she fooled us until the last minute. Since she put us on hold for five months, we missed other opportunities and we are still looking for a house. Now the housing prices are high, we are stuck. She is very dishonest person to be serving people. She gave us strong hope on that house until the house actually was sold. She totally wasted our time and money.Desired Settlement: apology from the company.
