Review: This Real estate company posted a house at [redacted] , in [redacted] at a asking price of 420,000(short sale).(2/**/15). My wife and and I immediately arranged a visit on 2/**/15, and like the house, and made an offer of 420,000. we requested we close on the house in 60 days. The agreed to price was accepted, and the 60 day closing was counter with 120 days. we accepted , and was set to move forth with a home inspection. On Monday 2/**/15 The agent for Re/max([redacted])indicated that another offer was made , and would we like to increase our price? our answer was no. On Wednesday(2/**/15) Re/max decided to go with the higher offer. I believe there is clear conflict of interest here that should be investigated. We made an offer at the asking price, thou it was a verbal agreement,and to now ask me for additional Money does not seem right. My wife and I where the first to see and offer a price on house.Desired Settlement: We want our initial offer to stand. we want the house.
