Re Con Containers

We originally contracted and paid Recon Containers to drop off a dumpster for the demolition of our concrete stairs. When we were done with demolition, we called for a pick up. The owner of the company said that the dumpster was too heavy to pick up and we over loaded it. He also stated that the we never told him that cement was going in it. We did in fact tell him before hand, what was going in. He said it was our problem and could not help us. He did agree to drop off a second dumpster at no additional cost. This was after much back and forth. We then had to pay a second company to remove half the dumpster contents and put it in the second dumpster. This was very costly. The owner then removed the first dumpster, but only after we provided 2 ton lifts because his truck was not capable of lifting it. We then called for pick up for the second dumpster, but he would not return our calls and instead sent us a bill for an additional $300.00. He is now refusing to pick up the second dumpster until we pay him more money. After a final phone call, he then threatened to come to our house and dump the contents of the dumpster in our yard and driveway. We then had the Billerica Police come by our house to file a report because we were nervous about the threats.
