In October, 2013, the company was paid for a project involving roof repair and new gutter installation. The company had previously provided a free estimate. In June, 2016, one of the new gutters was observed to be overflowing during a rain storm. Subsequent investigation showed that the gutter was not tilted towards the downspout. Whether the gutter had shifted since October, 2013, or whether it was never properly installed was not clear. In any case, the company refused to visit and examine their work unless a fee of $325 for the first hour was remitted, in stark contrast to the free estimate they had provided prior to the project. In my opinion, this fee is clearly meant to discourage past customers from having their projects revisited. Further, it suggests to me that the company does not stand behind its work.
