(Following are e-mailed comments to Revdex.com staff - LST)*** RCP Mayfield LLCis in receipt of the complaint ID #***This tenant claimed to have put a rent check in the dropbox outside of the office prior to the late fees getting charged on the 6thOur residents rent is due on the 1st and
they are given a day grace periodWe were in receipt of multiple rent checks however their rent check was not locatedThey were contacted and told they had to pay the feeThey were offered in person and via e-mail alternatives to paying rentThere are multiple choices we have availableThey can go online and pay for free with our Rent Café resident services, use our check free pay card, set up auto payments with the bank or go online with a credit cardOur policy is not to waive late fees for any residentsIf we waived the fee for this resident we would have to waive it for all residentsWe practice Fair Housing and take it very seriouslyWe are very sorry they are upset and in the future they should pay with the alternative methods we have providedAny questions feel free to call Heather B*** the Property Manager at *** Unfortunately there is no video camera outside of the clubhouse. This late payment for 2/18/will not be reported to their credit. We can absolutely give a written receipt if they bring it directly into the office.
