RBC Rewards Travel Redemption Centre

I am very upsetI booked a flight for my husband on flight network for $I had checked the Air Canada site directly but it was around $for the flights I wantedI then went to book a flight on RBC rewardsWe have 92,point so knew that would cover the 65,points requiredWell that certainly was not the case! In the end all my points were used up and I owed $for a return fare for one person! I immediately phoned the reward centreSpent a fair amount of time reviewing thisThe person I spoke to checked thoroughly and told me that she was on the direct Air Canada site and that that RBC had no control over their pricesShe quoted the price of over $I can't recall if that involved my seemingly worthless points or not but regardless what is up with this? I hung up and went to check AC site and much the same result as I had the night beforeI am so disappointed with RBC as I have always sung their praises up till nowWill try to speak to someone regarding this as this is advertising

We supplied concrete for this company and they have not paid Lady in charge of billing advised that the company is facing financial difficulties and they are having a hard time even paying employeesshe provided number to contact the owner He was very rude and continues to say that he will send payment and to date they are months behind They do not return calls or emails

I then went to book a flight on RBC rewards. We have 92,000 point so knew that would cover the 65,000 points required. Well that certainly was not the case! In the end all my points were used up and I owed $630 for a return fare for one person! I immediately phoned the reward centre. Spent a fair amount of time reviewing this. The person I spoke to checked thoroughly and told me that she was on the direct Air Canada site and that that RBC had no control over their prices. She quoted the price of over $2000. I can't recall if that involved my seemingly worthless points or not but regardless what is up with this? I hung up and went to check AC site and much the same result as I had the night before. I am so disappointed with RBC as I have always sung their praises up till now. Will try to speak to someone regarding this as this is false advertising.
