I receive a complaint from a customer that I sold a car to a few month ago. The car was prefect no problem low miles 105kmile, customer had me to write out a 250 mile warranty for the car. At my dealership the car is sold as is. so just to make the customer happy I wrote out a 250 mile warranty thinking nothing should not go wrong with this car for the next 3 years. The customer call me a week later and said the transmission went out. I told them to bring the car down and I will fix it. It is hard to find a transmission for this car, so I sent it to my mechanic shop to find one for it. I paid him to started the work, he install a couple transmission that was bad, so I told him I have to get a good one myself to drop off to him so he can install it, because he was taking to long getting it back to my customer. Im working everyday to find a good transmission for the customer. Im feel bad that this happen, I dont know what this customer really did to the car but im trying to make it better. I sold over 70 car since being in business this is only complaint.
