Brookhaven Retreat is a lifesaver. The mental health treatment you recieve there is top notch as long as every staff member. You are treated very professionally and individually. You have the oppurtunity when you leave to participate in their aftercare program. I've never been treated with such respect while dealing with mental health issues. This place knows what they're doing and worth every penny. During your stay you aren't expected to do any housework and are served healthy meals prepared by onsite chefs (healthy snacks also available), so that you can get the most of your time there: Having the time to work on YOU in order to get healthy and stay healthy. It's not a magic treatment center, go and plan on working hard. What you put into your treatment is what you'll get out of it. Understand this is part of your journey and you will be put back into the environment you came from. But everyday you can pull from the skills you learned at Brookhaven. They are by no means "pill pushers". The founder herself is on campus, so you know things are being ran and taught as expected. The "sisters" you meet here will become very important to you, even years after leaving treatment.
