Please see the business response below: In response to *** ***'s complaint, I must emphatically state that no one from Quality Irrigation of Medford ever installed any kind of locking device on his or anyone else s water supplyI have never purchased, stocked, installed or even seen any
such device and it is not our practice to do soFurthermore, we have no reason to even touch a customer's main water supply when servicing their irrigation systemAlthough we did service the system in the spring we installed no such device as *** *** is accusing us ofFurthermore, I feel like we did a great job responding to the complaintant's request for emergency service...from vacation, I retrieved his emergency request for service and immediatley dispatched the closest technicianIf I had the opportunity to speak to *** *** before dispatching a technician, I would have told him then that he was mistaken about us installing the locking device, instead, in interest of helping out one of our customers, I dispatched the technician at my own cost to fix a problem that had absolutely nothing to do with usThe complaintant was combatitive to say the least and our technician never once requested any kind of payment from the customer, and that he would have to consult me, the owner when I returned from family vacation on the 11/16, but the customer insisted on being assured that there would be no charge, so he got my cell phone number from the technician and got me on the phone literally as I was boarding a cruise to the BahamasHe was insistent that I admit to installing the device which I would notHe then insisted that I would tell him there would be no charge even though we sent a technician out to address a problem not caused by us, I relented to get him off the phone and told him there would be no charge and to find another company to service his needs in the future and to kindly leave me aloneHe followed that up by harassing me with insulting text messages, which I can produce upon requestNot only is this complaint and customer non-factual, it has also been a continuing waste of my time and resources

I am rejecting this response because: The arrogance of the company owner is on display with his response. The technician which actually DID the work in the spring and installed the locking nuts no longer works for the company according to the most recent technician. That initial technician informed me that he had a plumbing background. I do not know why these nuts were installed, but he decided to place them there. Contrary to Quality Irrigations "opinion", the problem was created by their company. To my knowledge, they have not consulted with the former employee who did the work to ask him why he placed the locking nuts. Perhaps, the items didn't belong to Quality Irrigation but they are ultimately responsible for their technicians work who represents their company. The company created the problem, and they were not doing us a favor by attempting to correct problem they created. In addition, I gratefully tipped the technician $20 and thank him for his time. Mind you, he was at my house for 5 minutes yet the owner wants to make it seem as though it really threw off his schedule. He did not have any tools to correct they problem as he had to use my own personal tools. So, they sent an unprepared technician to "help." Lastly, the owner decided it would be OK to text me after hanging up the phone on me. Yet again, his story isn't clear here. How would any customer respond to a company owner not admitting fault and hanging up the phone with reprehensible behavior. The Quality Irrigation tags are the only tags on my water pipes yet they admit not guilt. Perhaps, the owner should have better communication with his employees. The owner needs a stern reminding that his cruise to the Bahamas is paid for by hard working customers like ourselves. The fact that he decided to answer the phone before leaving on vacation is irrelevant and if he had no intentions of talking business then he should have informed his employee of that. Once again, there's a communication break down.
