[redacted] finished our defensive driving course on 11/24/2017 at 12:09am on Friday and paid $25 extra for express shipment of her certificate.  That was a Thanksgiving Holiday weekend so our normal Overnight Service carrier was not picking up on that Friday.  We had to use UPS instead...

for our express shipments as several companies were not picking up due to the holiday.  We advised her on that Friday via company text Exchange (see proof attached) that due to her zip code, her shipment would be delivered on that Tuesday, November 28th.  She did not contact us back until that following Tuesday stating that she should have received it the previous day.  Her document was due in court on Tuesday the 28th.  On that Tuesday, Nov. 28th, we promptly emailed her a pdf copy of her original certificate as proof of taking the course so that she could go ahead and provide that to the court at that moment along with a letter stating what occured with the shipment on the Holiday weekend.  We apologize for any inconvenience to our student but after discussing the situation with our administrator we took all proper measures in reaching out to Ms. [redacted] to let her know of the delivery date and provided her with a pdf copy of her certificate along with a letter for the court.  We decided to go ahead and refund Ms. [redacted]'s overnight fee of $25.00 today for any inconvenience. Sincerely,[redacted]Manager
