Ray's Chimney Service Plus is punctual and knowledgeable, I'm very happy with their performanceThey solved two longstanding issuesFor the first time a woodstove and a fireplace, feeding two chimneys are functioning well and they are up to code

On the positive side, they were friendly, did good work, and I thought the price was reasonableMy chimney sustained minor damage in a windstorm and they fixed it
On the negative side: Good Lord these people are high maintenance! They do not schedule appointments I was put on a list and told that the tech would drop by in the next 5-business daysHe would call me about an hour before he showed up
When I said that I work during the day and could not necessarily get home with only an hour's notice, they seemed baffledMy suggestion: how about a phone call the night before and an estimate of the time (am or pm)? That seemed kind of weird to them, but they agreed
Two weeks passedNo phone callI called themThey were nearby and would try to drop byNopeA week later I finally got a callThey could be there in an hour, would I be ready? Uh, noThey agreed to show up the next dayThey did and we got it done
Weird! Who doesn't schedule appointments?
