Review: Ray Hamad was hired to demolish and renovate a laundry room and bathroom that were side by side into one room. The washer and dryer were to be moved to the basement and hooked up. The washer was broken while being moved. It was hooked up and I was told to use it,I wasn't informed it was broke. The tub was broken in the washer and water flooded my entire basement. It took 4 days to be resolved, which was it couldn't be repaired. The job was to take 3-4 weeks and week 3 only the plumbing was done. The workers were to work from 9:15 to 7 every night. The worked randomly and only about 12 hours total in the 3 weeks. They never cleaned up and left supplies and garbage on my front porch for 2 weeks. Ray was late for every meeting we had scheduled, had me waiting 2 hours to order faucets. We had a friend and [redacted] code look at the plumbing and at 3 weeks being with out a shower and tub it wasn't up to code. It has to be ripped out and redone. I gave Ray the [redacted] paper work to apply for a permit because I didn't have his information. He never took it to [redacted]. We gave him home depot card to get all of the materials and he lost it and never gave me receipts from what he bought. I reported it lost and gave him another card. We fired he and his crew from the project. We asked for the $2,000 retainer back,my cc, receipts, and a washer.We spoke with Ray telling him we weren't happy with the progress and the mess. He promised it would be resolved. His guy worked the next two days then didn't show the 3rd, Ray didn't know about it, nor did he monitor his employees. I gave him a second chance and he proved me right that he was unreliable!!! PLEASE NEVER HIRE THIS GUY! As of today I didn't get anything back...Desired Settlement: I want my $2,000 back, washer replaced, receipts from material purchased, and my credit card!
