Raw Iron, LLC declined refunding my remaining pre paid payments.
I prepaid, in full, a 12 month membership with Raw Iron, LLC Gym on 12/02/2019 for $232.74. June 05,2020 I decided to end the membership due to a hostile environment. I expressed my concerns with the Raw Iron, LLC owner and asked to have my remaining membership payments refunded to my bank account in full. At first the owner declined, but once I explained to her my reason for terminating membership through her company, she then went into a rambling rage while attempting to calculate my refund. I left the establishment unsettled, never the less, but on good faith without examining the check amount. June 07,2020 I noticed that the check was written for an amount that was considerably less than what should have been refunded. June 08, 2020 I pre-calculated the amount that I was owed prior to returning to the establishment to inform the Raw Iron, LLC owner that the check was written for less than what was to be paid. Again the Raw Iron, LLC Gym owner went into a delusional aggressive display of disreputable behavior, which quite frankly in truth is disengaging. I thanked the Raw Iron, LLC owner and left the premises. I used the Raw Iron Gym, LLC facility from 12/02/2019 until 03/20/2020 due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Fitness centers statewide were on hold from 03/20/2020 until 05/18/2020. There are two months that I didn't utilize Raw Iron facility. I began using the facility on the date of 05/18/2020 up until 06/05/2020. A check was written for the amount of $77.33, a sum way less than what's owed. Given the calculations and time frame that I used Raw Iron, LLC Gym was roughly 4 months. I prepaid a 12 month membership at $232.74, with monthly payments equating to $19.40. At $19.40/month for the remaining 8 months equals $155.20, my refund was undercut by $77.87.
