Raritan Bay Medical Center

Review: Medical billing/collection issue. Charity care case filed for service date 2/18/2012. Procedures & forms with multiples of paperwork supplied for financial assistance for date in concern to Raritan bay medical. At that time financial hardships including unemployment ,No healthcare Insurance & Pt employment.

Recently in August of 2015 we received debt collectors billing for amount $2,580.40. in reference to above case file,Delivered from [redacted] & [redacted] llp file # .representing Raritan Bay Medical.

We disputed this debt,with statement charity care case was filed and processed.

Debt collectors inquired available of results for case/information to apply.

After calling patient account information I was informed from Hospital associate ( Ms Heather 9/11/2015 file was Not submitted by Raitan bay at that time, stating incomplete and had no access to old files, suggested that I call Financial aid -(also know as Charity care in the past) for access of old files.

I Called twice at the phone number supplied ,which was financial aid dept. automatically transferring to we are not available at this time, leave message. phone calls made 9/14 & 9/15/2015 approx 1:30pm. Which I did along with patient information & return phone contacts.No response to date.

I followed with a call to debt collector attempting to inform them of situation and working on supplying documents they requested.Going direct to extension supplied - Leave a message was only option along with my phones number for return call. No response to date.

Do to time lapse over 3 years we feel there will be missing hard copies/evidence of anything supplied to Charity care at that time, and will be unjustly fair to force payment or liens at current date.Desired Settlement: Account balance zero out and file closed , no further legal actions
