I contracted with this company to repair an Heating and Air Conditioning roof top unit for one of my properties. They came out and repaired it for about $900.00. approx. 30 days late, the unit stopped working again. I called them out to come and fix it again, they stated even though it is the same problem I would be responsible for the cost even though it is still under the 90 warranty.
Hello ***,I received notification today from the Revdex.com about your complaint. I reached out to you by phone but your mail box is full and I couldn’t leave a message.On August 8, 2019 we had a no cooling call from you and found the temperature split very high. The evaporator coils was severely plugged due to no air filters in the registers. We advised your tenant to install air filters at that time. We cleaned the dirty evaporator coil (inside coil) and the condenser coil (outside coil). We also cleaned the condensate pan and drain out. During this time the condenser fan motor quit working and you were quoted a condenser fan motor replacement. We changed the condenser fan motor and unit was running fine.On September 20th we received a call stating the unit was making a loud noise. When we arrived on site, the blower wheel had slid down on the shaft due to worn bearings and damaged blower wheel. I quoted you the blower motor, wheel and run capacitor at that time and explained to you the difference between the (2) motors. I also had my technician install the (2) air filters because the tenant had not installed any. The condenser fan motor is a 1/3 HP motor. The blower motor is a ½ HP motor. Two different type and horse power motors.It is very important to us that we have happy and satisfied customers. I am rejecting this response because:
The air condition company tech gave me a 90 day guarantee on the repair. I paid the $900.00 the first time. Within approx. 30 days, the system broke again. Charging me another $900.00. This company can lie all they want, how can they stand by there work and say they have a 90 day guarantee and not fix it correctly and charge me another $900.00. This is the worse company ever. Warranty doesn't mean anything to them. What are others going to do, call for service and pay their bill and not have their Dr air fixed correctly? Trouble service and even worse company ever!!
