Review: A person called insisting that I had an overdue bill on my account with Rapid Yellow pages. I indicated that I did not have an account with this company. They gave me an account number and validated my address etc. I was promised a copy of the original agreement and a letter of closure. I received no information. I could not contact them by phone. My check was cashed.Desired Settlement: I would like to be refunded the $350.00 that I paid to this company.

Review: I received a phone call today saying that I had an outstanding balance due for online advertising from January 2013 to March 2014. I have never ordered or authorized any online advertising and have never heard of this company. The gentleman who called, wanted me to pay immediately for this invoice that I have never seen before. He did fax me a copy of the invoice. I could find no record of the original payment in my bookkeeping files. Total cost was for $990.00, he said I paid $495.00 up front and there is a balance due of $495.00, which I could pay by credit card. This whole thing does not sound right and I would appreciate it if someone could look into this for me.Desired Settlement: I feel that I should not have to pay for something that I never authorized in the first place.
